My Drama Missy

Chapter 78

"Whаt аrе уou doing?!" Wu Маngmаng рrеssed down on Lu Sui's wаndеring hand.

"I'm just clаiming my victоrу rights," Lu Sui rерliеd with а slight pant.

Wu Мangmang tried to kick Lu Sui with her lеgs, аttemрting to gеt uр, but unfоrtunаtelу, thе slеерing bag wаs too crаmрed. Аlthough she had rеalized it wаs a spесiаllу рrерared dоublе sleерing bаg, the sрaсе was still toо сonfinеd.

With little room, Wu Мangmang cоuldn't mustеr muсh strength in hеr legs. Lu Sui grabbed hеr wаist аnd draggеd hеr bасk in оnе swift motiоn.

"Lu Sui, this is аssault, this is а crimе!" Wu Mangmаng bluffed. In rеаlitу, evеn if shе wеnt fоr a medicаl examination аfterward, such а casе would bе hаrd to win. Аside from the agreement she had signed, Lu Sui's silver-tongued lawyer, Jiang, could probably twist the facts and claim she had assaulted Lu Sui.

"Oh, I'll take you to the police tomorrow," Lu Sui said, his hands not stopping for a moment.

Panting, Wu Mangmang pleaded, "Lu Sui, you wouldn't stoop so low, would you?" Forcing a woman was just too low, wasn't it?

Lu Sui thought for a moment and chuckled, "Then make me feel high."

...

The glaring sunlight streamed through the window, hitting Wu Mangmang's eyelids. She frowned and buried her head deeper into the sleeping bag.

The scene was a complete mess, and Wu Mangmang didn't want to wake up.

"Time to get up," Lu Sui said, holding a warmed glass of milk in front of her.

Wu Mangmang simply buried her head completely inside the sleeping bag.

"Get up. It's eight o'clock. If we wait any longer, the organizers will come to clean up the campsite." The sound of a zipper echoed in her ears, and the next moment, Lu Sui's hand reached into the sleeping bag from the side. "Or, we could..."

Wu Mangmang immediately covered her ears with both hands and reluctantly poked her head out of the sleeping bag. She glared at Lu Sui and asked, "Were you getting back at me last night?"

She hadn't slept at all, had she?

Lack of sleep always made her particularly sharp-tongued. "Were you on drugs yesterday?"

Lu Sui ignored Wu Mangmang's provocation, placed the milk in front of her, and turned around to start packing.

Wu Mangmang also knew now wasn't the time to settle scores with Lu Sui. The competition ended at eight o'clock, and they hadn't returned yet. The staff would likely come up the mountain to look for them.

Wu Mangmang reached out and fumbled around, trying to find her clothes. Her eyes, heavy with exhaustion, could only half-open, but even with a glance, she could see fresh red marks on her arms.

Lu Sui had really let loose on her body last night.

Wu Mangmang finally managed to grab her bra and put it on, then leaned out to find her tank top. Just as she picked it up to put it on, she suddenly remembered that Lu Sui had used it to wipe himself last night.

And her panties were unwearable too, soaked with fluids.

Frustrated, Wu Mangmang waved the tank top in the air. "Lu Sui, how am I supposed to wear this?"

Lu Sui turned around and glanced at it, seemingly remembering as well. The corner of his lips curled up as he tossed a clean T-shirt from his backpack to Wu Mangmang. "Wear this instead."

He then rummaged through his backpack again and found a pair of his own briefs for Wu Mangmang.

It was said that men who wore briefs were more flirtatious, and Wu Mangmang had now witnessed it firsthand.

Wu Mangmang wanted to throw the briefs back in Lu Sui's face, but her pants had rolled around on the ground yesterday and were already dirty. Wearing nothing underneath was something she couldn't bear. She could only close her eyes and put on Lu Sui’s boxers. Though they were a bit too big, at least they wouldn’t fall off.

Wu Mangmang picked up the glass of milk beside her and took a fierce gulp before getting up to wash up.

It was still over an hour’s walk from Camp 3 to the pickup point halfway down the mountain. As she walked, Wu Mangmang felt that she had been too cowardly last night. If she didn’t clarify things now, Lu Sui might easily misunderstand.

Besides, Wu Mangmang felt sore all over, especially her legs.

Back when she was with Lu Sui, it had never been this bad—he had been relatively gentle then.

So Wu Mangmang glared at Lu Sui’s back and said, “Lu Sui, I never expected you to be this kind of person. Did all your moral education as a child go to the dogs? How could you force a woman?”

Lu Sui glanced sideways at Wu Mangmang and said with amusement, “Do you really have the nerve to say I forced you last night?”

His eyes fell on the outer pocket of his backpack, which held Wu Mangmang’s camisole and panties, still damp to this day.

Wu Mangmang’s face flushed instantly, but she refused to let Lu Sui have the upper hand in every argument. “Why is Mr. Lu so desperate now? Is it because you’re too rough that you can’t find a woman?”

Lu Sui turned his head and chuckled softly.

The way he shook his head and sighed made Wu Mangmang feel as though her intelligence was being insulted.

“You’re not my girlfriend, so why should I be gentle?” Lu Sui said.

Wu Mangmang nearly stumbled in anger. Was that even something a human would say? Just because she wasn’t his girlfriend, he could use her however he wanted? Roughly and without restraint?

Wu Mangmang was too furious to speak. She had never been able to outwit Lu Sui—otherwise, she wouldn’t have been so tightly controlled back then, nearly driven to the wall, and ultimately forced to leave in such a humiliating manner.

The most important thing for a person was to know their limits. So Wu Mangmang decided to stop talking. If she couldn’t win, she could at least avoid him, right?

Although Wu Mangmang realized this matter might not end easily—Lu Sui’s willingness to revisit the past couldn’t simply be explained as a momentary impulse—she still believed that since he had accepted their breakup so calmly last time, she should be able to reason with him now and walk away unscathed.

At worst, she could just avoid Ning Zheng from now on, right?

As she approached the pickup point, Wu Mangmang could see the car waiting in the distance.

When Lu Sui and Wu Mangmang descended the mountain, Ning Zheng and Shen Ting, who were sitting in the front car, got out.

Wu Mangmang trailed about five meters behind Lu Sui, but under the clear sky with sparse clouds, visibility was unobstructed. Ning Zheng could clearly see the oversized T-shirt Wu Mangmang was wearing—Lu Sui’s T-shirt.

Fortunately, he couldn’t see that she was still wearing Lu Sui’s boxers.

Her neck and the areas around the collar of the T-shirt were densely covered with marks, unmistakably those of a woman who had just been passionately loved.

Without a word, Ning Zheng threw a punch at Lu Sui’s face.

Lu Sui’s head snapped to the side from the blow, and without mercy, he punched Ning Zheng back.

The two men in their thirties began fighting right in front of everyone.

“Lu Sui, what do you think you’re doing?!” Ning Zheng roared.Lu Sui was a sly, wicked sort who wouldn't be distracted enough to answer. Ning Zheng was beaten back step by step.

Wu Mangmang was frightened by Lu Sui's ferocity.

If Wu Mangmang had still held any illusions before, she could no longer deceive herself now.

After more than an hour of calming down, Wu Mangmang's intelligence had fully returned. The meaning behind Lu Sui's actions was self-evident.

Recalling this event, the rewards were said to be unprecedentedly high; otherwise, Ning Zheng wouldn't have been interested in participating or gone to such lengths to persuade her.

What Luo Kaiyue said over the communicator in the afternoon was clearly luring her into walking right into a trap.

"Lu Sui! What do you mean? You dumped Wu Mangmang, and now you won't let me date her?" Ning Zheng roared as Lu Sui grabbed his collar, about to hit him again.

Lu Sui punched Ning Zheng in the face. "When did I say I was the one who dumped Wu Mangmang?"

Damn it. Wu Mangmang could no longer stand by and watch. She rushed to the car, pulled open the door, got in, and started yelling at the driver, "Drive, drive, hurry up and drive!"

Cowards were like this—they always wanted to run when trouble arose.

Unfortunately, the driver didn't listen to Wu Mangmang; he was too busy watching the show.

Knock, knock, knock. Someone tapped on the window beside Wu Mangmang. She turned her head and saw Ning Zheng with a black eye.

Wu Mangmang glanced at Lu Sui as well. His face was relatively clean, except for a red, bloodied patch at the corner of his mouth.

This meant the fight was over.

Knock, knock, knock. Ning Zheng tapped on the window again.

Only then did Wu Mangmang reluctantly roll down the window, mainly because Ning Zheng's expression looked somewhat menacing.

"Mangmang, so you were the one who dumped Lu Sui back then?" Ning Zheng said this with a strong sense of grievance.

If he had known earlier that it was Wu Mangmang, this troublemaker, who had dumped Lu Sui, Ning Zheng wouldn't have dared to pursue her even if he liked her. Wasn't this a direct slap in Lu Sui's face?

Love may be precious, but friendship is worth even more.

Wu Mangmang didn't answer Ning Zheng. Instead, she glanced at Lu Sui. How could she dare to say in front of everyone that she was the one who dumped Lu Sui?

"No, we broke up amicably. We just weren't suited for each other," Wu Mangmang said. This was in response to Ning Zheng, but it was mainly meant for Lu Sui to hear.

Ning Zheng gave Wu Mangmang a thumbs-up, then turned and got into the car behind.

After Lu Sui got into the car, Wu Mangmang stole several glances at his face, mainly to check his injury.

Mr. Lu was used to being high and mighty, so seeing a bruise suddenly appear at the corner of his mouth felt rather amusing. In any case, Wu Mangmang was mostly gloating.

"Happy?" Lu Sui turned his head to look at Wu Mangmang, his expression dark. "Do you want to take a photo too?"

Lu Sui had hit the nail on the head. But when they went up the mountain earlier, her phone had already been turned off and placed in a safe. The organizers didn't allow anyone to bring their phones.

Wu Mangmang chuckled and said nothing.

The car entered the mountain villa through a private passage, and neither Lu Sui nor Ning Zheng were exposed to the others. Such was the privilege.

Wu Mangmang had long wanted to take a shower and change clothes, feeling sticky and uncomfortable all over. So, she ignored the mess in front of her and went straight back to her room.

By the time she woke up, it was already four in the afternoon. Most people had already checked out, with only Lu Sui still waiting for her."Awake?" Lu Sui asked.

Wu Mangmang nodded.

"Let's go," Lu Sui said.

It seemed they had returned to their old pattern—whatever Lu Sui said, Wu Mangmang would follow. If that was the case, what was the point of her breaking up with him in the first place?

Wu Mangmang didn’t deny that she had once been drawn to Lu Sui.

This man was too good-looking, exuded an imposing presence, possessed immense charm, and was exceptionally well-off financially. From an evolutionary perspective, females are naturally inclined toward such males—good genes and the ability to provide a favorable environment for their offspring.

So, it was instinctual for Wu Mangmang to still feel a flutter for Lu Sui.

Moreover, as the saying goes, "Appetite for food and sex is human nature." Even sages acknowledged this.

When a woman reaches a certain age and becomes aware of such matters, she too has physiological needs—nothing to be ashamed of.

Last night, Wu Mangmang had indeed been pleased by Lu Sui, but it was purely a physiological reaction. It didn’t mean she had abandoned her stance.

In fact, the moment she crawled out of the sleeping bag, Wu Mangmang had already regretted it and resolved to cut ties.

Biting the knuckle of her bent right index finger, Wu Mangmang hesitated for a long while, watching Lu Sui’s profile as he drove, before finally speaking up. "Didn’t you say before that a good horse doesn’t turn back to graze on old grass?"

Lu Sui glanced at her swiftly. "I’m a human, not a horse."

Wu Mangmang could only chuckle dryly. Mr. Lu really had an answer for everything.

"But I’m a good horse," Wu Mangmang said. Such an obvious hint—surely Lu Sui understood?

Wu Mangmang leaned forward to look at Lu Sui. He stopped at a red light and turned his head openly, letting her gaze freely. "Indeed, a fine horse. I rode very comfortably."

Furious, Wu Mangmang clasped her forehead with both hands, pounding her temples with the heels of her palms. She felt utterly unwell.
