Coming to Myself

Chapter 179

Wei Lan asked, "Old Chen, what do we do now?"

Chen Feng pondered for a moment before countering, "Why did we all choose to follow Teacher Yin in the first place?"

Everyone fell silent, complex emotions flickering in their eyes.

Chen Feng said, "It's because everyone else in this world sees us as guilty, but only he sees us as innocent. In all these years by his side, this is the first time I've seen him care so deeply about someone. Like Lao Jiu said, if he wants something, why shouldn't we help him get it? Laws, morals—when have we ever truly cared about them? It's only because of his restraint that we've followed them all these years."

"Do you understand now what we need to do? If he really does something to You Mingxu, it's unlikely to be anything good. You Mingxu is a police officer, and a troublesome one at that. We need to be prepared to erase any related evidence—that shouldn't be too difficult for us. No matter how their relationship turns out after tonight, we'll clean up the mess for him."

The group remained silent.

Lao Jiu was the first to speak. "Fine," he said, rubbing his hands together with a grin. "Lao Jiu hasn't done anything bad in a long time. This little thing is nothing."

Tuya and Xiao Yan stayed quiet.

Chen Feng said coldly, "Did you hear me?"

Tuya's face tightened, but he eventually gave a slight nod. Xiao Yan replied softly, "Yes."

Chen Feng then looked at Wei Lan, who also nodded.

Just then, Guan Jun emerged from the kitchen carrying a tea tray, smiling at them.

Chen Feng asked, "What did you put in it?"

Guan Jun replied, "That woman is too skilled. I added something to make her feel euphoric. Tuya, why are you glaring at me?"

Tuya feared Chen Feng and Lao Jiu, but not Guan Jun, and continued to stare coldly. Guan Jun scoffed and said, "Wouldn't it be good for Teacher Yin to enjoy himself?" He walked to the study door, knocked twice, and entered.

Soon after, Guan Jun came out and sat on the sofa downstairs.

Chen Feng asked, "What's going on in there?"

Guan Jun recalled the scene he had just witnessed—

You Mingxu sat on the sofa, her expression icy cold, not even glancing at him. And Teacher Yin...

He sat in an adjacent armchair. Guan Jun had never seen him like that before—his eyes bloodshot, his face tense, with tears barely held back, as if he had suffered immense humiliation. His emotions were turbulent, and he was struggling to contain himself.

The atmosphere was so tense it felt like a drawn bowstring, ready to snap.

Guan Jun also remembered the look Yin Feng had given him when he brought in the tea—his eyes were filled with shadows. That gaze, brimming with intense desire, was all too familiar to Guan Jun.

Guan Jun answered, "I've never seen him like that before. He's going to make his move on her."

Everyone fell silent.

No one knew exactly what Yin Feng intended to do.

Suddenly, the sound of something shattering came from the study, followed by faint arguing. Lao Jiu let out a cold laugh.

Not long after, there were several heavy thuds, as if objects had fallen to the floor.

Chen Feng looked up. "Xiao Yan, go check."

Xiao Yan, who had been restless, was about to stand when the study door opened.

Yin Feng emerged, carrying You Mingxu in his arms. A fresh wound marked his forehead, and his expression was frigid. You Mingxu had her arms wrapped around his neck, nestled against his chest, her eyes closed, her cheeks flushed with an unnatural redness.

Yin Feng glanced at the group downstairs. "What are you all doing here? Get lost." He strode toward the master bedroom.Chen Feng immediately ran up and caught up to him, saying, "Teacher Yin, if she wakes up, I'm afraid..." Before he could finish, Yin Feng kicked the door shut behind him with a loud "bang."

Chen Feng glanced at the people downstairs and said, "We'll take turns guarding in two shifts to prevent any incidents."

Everyone knew Chen Feng was right. If Yin Feng had drugged and locked up any other woman to do as he pleased, it wouldn't be this troublesome. But You Mingxu was a police officer. Now Yin Feng refused to listen to any advice, clearly having lost his rationality over this woman—his actions were already criminal. As Chen Feng said, perhaps it was their turn to repay his kindness now.

——

Under Chen Feng's arrangement, the guests quickly dispersed, and from a distance, they witnessed "You Mingxu" leaving alone in Tuya's car. Yin Feng, having lost face due to the fallout with his girlfriend, did not come out to see them off, and the guests all understood—after all, Teacher Yin had always been eccentric. Besides, anyone humiliated by a woman like that would find it hard to show their face.

Guan Jun, an IT expert, quickly arranged for the surveillance cameras in You Mingxu's residential area to capture her returning home as usual. The lights in her home turned on, and she sent Xu Mengshan a text mentioning a couple of work-related matters—everything appeared normal.

From Yin Feng's computer, a previously written but unpublished short story was sent to the publisher, accompanied by a note explaining it was inspired overnight. The computer also retained data records of all-night usage.

...

Wei Lan asked Chen Feng, "Do we need to go to this extent?"

Chen Feng looked up, glanced at the tightly closed master bedroom door, sighed, and said, "I hope it won't be necessary. But if You Mingxu wakes up tomorrow and refuses to let this go, I won't allow any evidence of rape to exist."

——

You Mingxu was experiencing such a sensation for the first time.

Her consciousness had blurred at some point, surrounded by shifting lights and shadows. She could vaguely make out the outlines of the room, windows, furniture, and a person.

There was an uncontrollable heat inside her body, along with an inexplicable excitement. She felt extremely happy and eager to do something.

"A Xu," a voice called out.

A familiar figure, his vague outline, and broad shoulders. You Mingxu suddenly laughed and reached out to him: "Yin Feng..."

He embraced her, seemingly murmuring with a smile, "You only had a little to drink, how did you end up like this?"

You Mingxu faintly sensed something was wrong, but she couldn't bear to leave the warmth of his embrace. She rested her head against his chest and said, "Handsome, I've missed you so much. I really have. When are you coming back?"

The person was silent for a moment, then coaxed softly, "I'm right here."

He picked her up, and You Mingxu, feeling weightless, quickly wrapped her arms around his neck. She felt her body grow hotter, happier, and her consciousness blurred even more. He carried her for a while until they reached another place.

When he laid her on the bed, You Mingxu felt the softness beneath her. She squinted, smiled, buried her face in the soft sheets, and gently rubbed against them.

Then she felt a shadow fall over her head as he drew near. Her hands were weak as she reached out, feeling like she had grabbed his collar. She lifted her head and kissed him.The man remained silent for only a few seconds before wrapping his arms around her waist, pressing her down onto the bed, and kissing her wildly. You Mingxu felt her entire body ignite, unable to suppress the moans escaping her lips. He sealed her mouth with his kiss: "Don't cry out... When you moan like this... I can't take it."

"Then don't hold back," she said with a hint of irritation. "You're mine. I'll have you whenever I want. You... lie still. I want to be on top."

The man chuckled softly but didn't move, instead nibbling his way down her neck. You Mingxu squirmed lightly under his touch, listening as his breathing grew increasingly ragged.

"You'll be the death of me," he whispered.

"That's exactly what I want—your life," she muttered.

He stilled then, burying his face in the quilt, breathing heavily for what felt like an eternity—so long that she grew impatient and hazily leaned in to kiss him again. Only then did he scoop her up into his arms and coax in a low voice, "Let's go to the bathroom. It'll feel even better there."
